They think “If I can publish good content people will naturally start watching my stuff”

If only it were that easy…

But if you’re serious about generating the organic views from YouTube you need to be very systematic with how you optimize and promote your content.

Otherwise, you are just blindly trying the methods in the hope of “it may work”…

Well, today I am going to show you a technique that almost guarantees that you get ranked your videos in YouTube search and related videos section and get the highest possible views.

Just keep reading with the focus to learn how…

YouTube Climb Technique (Video Marketing for Experts)

On August 20th I updated my channels content to professional and more focused on the single topic.

I started executing the “YouTube climb technique”, the number of big content websites mentioning my videos in their articles started rising immediately.

To be exact my videos embedded by 42 related websites (most of them having the huge audience).

More importantly, Organic search traffic to my entire YouTube channel increased rapidly after just 40 days.

The results of October 28 Days:

My subscribers doubled too (before it was almost 5k per month as an average):

The exciting Part?

You can do the same for your YouTube channel…even if you don’t have much experience in the online video content promotion.

The 4 Steps to use the “YouTube Climb Technique” to rank high in YouTube search and related videos

Here are the 4 steps that make the YouTube climb Technique

Step 1: Make Channel on Single Niche (Topic)

Step 2: Optimize Videos for High Ranking

Step 3: Find Websites interested in your Content

Step 4: Email Outreach them for your Videos Promotion and Backlinks

Here’s why this technique has worked so well (and why I am calling it the climb technique):

You are going to just focus on the single topic for your channel videos and it surely gives you the look of an expert in that specific niche…

And after optimizing the content for YouTube search and related videos you will reach the right people for getting shares in front of their big audience…

So, it will not only give you the boost in views but also make your content climbs high in YouTube search while someone is searching for your topic…

You can all do this yourself and observe the big results…

Step 1: Make Your Channel on Single Niche (Topic)

This is super easy but most of the people fail to understand the importance of working on single niche…

Let’s say you love watching the motivational videos. Will you subscribe to the channel uploading only motivational content or the one also uploading funny videos?

If you are like most of the people you will subscribe to the channel uploading only great motivational content right?

This is how you can earn credibility by working on a single topic.

Even when you are making the videos you also need to present the content in a unique way that no one else is doing in your niche that makes people share your content…

So, when you are working on a single niche it will also present you as a go-to expert on that topic.

But in case if you have the big niche channel like you are talking about sports including football, cricket, hockey then you need to organize your content in different playlists format…

When you have organized content then people who came for watching the football updates will see the football related content and others came for cricket should see the cricket content in suggestions….

This is a very good example of sticking the people to your channel after they landed on your first video.

It’s always better to get more views on less content than no views on many videos…

In a Nutshell: It’s very important to work on a single topic in order to get the authority and maximum user engagement.

Step 2: Optimize Videos for Higher YouTube Rankings

If your videos are ranking on the first page of YouTube when someone is searching for the related terms to your channel or videos then you can get the maximum views….

You may already know that related videos section is also a big source of viewers on YouTube.

But for ranking in search listings and related videos section you need to optimize your content in a way that YouTube starts understanding your videos topics and list you in search results.

Here’s how you can optimize your videos:

Make a Catchy Title:

First, I must tell you a fact that “In online content, 80 percent of the people read only your content headlines”

So, if you need more views you have to take it very seriously.

Your aim here is to make a video title which is including a related keyword and click magnet words…

For finding the video related keyword I use this tool and it will throw you the keywords with estimated searches per month, here’s the example:

Simply select one related keyword with good searches and add it once in your title.

After selecting the keyword now your task is to make the title very catchy that everyone wants to click on your headline…

For example: if you are targeting the keyword “German shepherd dog training”

You should have to come up with the sticky titles like

“Step by Step German Shepherd Dog Training Guide”

“German Shepherd dog training: An Ultimate guide”

If you are writing these kinds of titles which are using the appealing words in them, you will get more eyeballs on your content…

You can also check that which titles are doing a perfect job in generating the social shares or user engagements by opening the buzzsumo and putting in your main keyword…

So, after checking the most popular content headlines in your niche you can modify them and use them in your content for proven results…

Write Brief Video Description:

Most of the people confused the YouTube descriptions concept by manipulating it for higher rankings…

As they think that adding too many related keywords in the video description will help boost the rankings but it actually removes your videos from search now…

YouTube can now understand the optimizations very smartly and you have to write the brief video descriptions just for giving the details about your video topic.

So, it is still important because you are making it very easy for YouTube crawlers to understand the topic of your videos and getting listed for those keywords.

Speak your keywords in Video:

As you already know that YouTube and Google are no more just relying on the keywords that you have included in the titles and descriptions…

They can now understand the content and rank it accordingly…
So, YouTube can now actually understand what you are talking in the video using the English Language…

It’s not very accurate but they understand almost 80 percent of your talking that you can check by turning on the auto-subtitles as well…

Whenever I am recording the video I say the main keyword 3-4 times, it surely helps to give the understanding of your topic.

Upload a Video Transcript:

I must remind you again that the biggest source of getting the views on YouTube is from search and related videos section.

Uploading a video transcript will also help YouTube to understand your video topic completely and in my experience, it will start ranking your videos quickly in related searches.

As after uploading many video transcripts I started seeing the good results.

Add YouTube video tags:

Tags are not very important now but it can maybe give you the slight edge in ranking.

But I am not going to suggest you add the hundreds of tags in every video but you can add 4-5 related keywords tags in each video.

I normally add only 5 related keywords tags in my channel videos.

Optimize for CTR (Click through Rate):

CTR is also considered as one of the working ranking factors on YouTube.

It works like if your video is ranking on the 7th spot for a keyword but people are clicking on your video due to catchy headlines or thumbnails than clicking on above-ranking videos…

Also, after clicking on your video if they stick with your content then it will give a positive signal that your video is more related to the searched terms…

So along with the catchy titles, you also need to paint an attractive thumbnail that people only want to click on your video…

For thumbnail you can add one more catchy headline on it with a cool related image, you can learn this from the videos having high videos in your niche.

Step 3: Find Websites interested in your Content

Now you are all set with content and it’s time to actually promote your content professionally…

You can simply take the keyword of one video and search it on Google for finding the websites which are providing content on that topic like if your video topic is “German Shepherd dog training”

You can search it on Google and open all the websites like first 20-25 results and get the contact information of the blogs which only individuals are running (because you can easily approach them).

Further, for extracting the more results you can also search for the related terms to your keyword which Google is showing at the end for finding the similar content websites…

Like when I searched “German Shepherd Dog Training” it’s showing me the other related keywords like German shepherd puppy training…

So, Now I searched for German shepherd dog training and found some different websites working on the same content which never appeared in results with the first keyword.

In this way, you can collect the maximum websites working on your content topics and get their contact information from their Contact US or About Me pages and make a good list.

The big websites like wikihow which are powered by big companies are not going to be useful, so you need to collect the blogs which are developed by single content creator like yourself.

Step 4: Email Outreach them for Videos Promotion

Email outreach is the core of the YouTube Climb Technique.

No doubt, quality backlinks is one of the major YouTube ranking factors. When some related websites embed your videos in their content you will see a good boost in rankings.

Now, as you already have the list of websites by following step 3 which are providing the content related to your video, it’s time to approach them for your promotion.

I emailed 316 people running websites related to my videos using this template:

(I personally tweaked the template for everyone I reached out)
Out of 316 people I got 42 embeds of my video: a 13% success rate

You may be thinking, “42 embeds, that’s it?”.

But remember it’s about the quality of backlinks not about the quantity.

There were a lot of big sites in those 42 links which boosts the rankings of my videos and improves the credibility of the channel.

Besides, you can also notice the rise in the organic traffic from YouTube.

Some websites also mentioned my videos organically in their articles but the best links I got are from YouTube Climb Technique.

Final Words:

When you are applying the YouTube climb technique you are actually making the channel with the content which is highly focused on the specific type of user’s interest.

You are also optimizing the content perfectly for getting the higher rankings to those related terms.

At last, you are making the very related high-quality backlinks for your videos which can surely help you in rankings.

I hope you can see the potential of this technique for your channel and business. Yes, it requires hard work but with this strategy, you are almost sure that your hard work is going to pay off…

The Secret of Successful Vlogging [Ultimate Guide] No ratings yet.

I know working on YouTube with less number of subscribers is hard…

Because you are continuously producing the content for gaining the fans and popularity but it seems like only your content is missing the viewers…

Yes, it is because you have not many subscribers so people are not getting your videos on their home page of YouTube.

This is the reason most of the Vloggers stop making videos in the first 6-7 months of their journey due to less or no results…

Here’s the Reason:

Most of the people are inspired by the other Vloggers in the industry and after buying a good camera they quickly start recording videos without understanding anything…

I know it’s very simple to make a Vlog but you need to know the very important aspects of vlogging for getting thousands of views on every video you upload, on every channel you start…

Here I am going to tell you the complete factors of Vlogging step by step…

Know Your Character First:

This is the very common mistake in the new Vloggers that in every video they come up with different character…

I mean in the first video you can see them as a funny guy and in the very next video, they are pretending to be a serious person having much interest in politics…

You actually need to know your character first before uploading any video, that either you are going to be funny, serious, innocent or sarcasm person…

So, after deciding your role that you can do better or I mean you might be already getting compliments from your friends when you do that role…

Now you need to stick with that character on your channel in every single video.

I mean if you have selected to be funny then no matter your topic of the video is serious, breathtaking you are going to be funny…

Because this will help you in making the unique content and channel that everybody remembers with your character and share your videos that check out the attempt of this guy on specific topic…

I hope now you understand how important it is to know your character first…

Understand your Topic:

This one is a bit controversial topic because some professionals make videos on every topic with the same character but others stick with the one topic…

Let me give you the quick example:

You must have seen the videos of a person who records on every topic like politics, sports, technology and more but people love to watch his videos because of his attempt (character).

On the other hand, you have also seen some videos from a big channel which is only based on one topic like phone reviews, dog training and more…

Here’s the Hack:

When you are new you have to stick with just one topic that is also yours favorite because working on too many topics will make you confuse…

In a nutshell: You can never produce quality content when working on too many topics…

So, start with one topic and when you are going perfectly with that one or people are continuously watching your videos now you can start working on similar topics…

When you have changed the topic or adds the new one then after analyzing the stats, if that one is going well keep working on it otherwise add the new one…

This is how you can make an identity on that specific topic and stand out your YouTube channel.

Again I must tell you that it’s important to start a channel with a purpose of providing quality content around a single topic for getting noticed and grow your channel.

Now let’s move to the technical stuff…

Do Some Keyword Research:

In this step, you will find out that how much people are interested to watch videos on your decided topic…

After selecting the topic you just have to put your main topic keyword in the tool and it will give you the estimate that how much people are searching for it on YouTube every month.

You can use this tool for free here

Let’s suppose with me:

That your channel’s topic is dog training so you will put the keyword “dog training” in the tool and here are the results…

vlogging keyword research

You can see that 60 thousand people are searching for this single keyword and other keywords have different volumes too…

Pretty impressive! Right…?

There is a lot of potential on this topic because a lot of people are searching for these phrases that you can use in your video’s title and appear in YouTube search for getting maximum views…

But if you are working on the trends like news, politics that you don’t need to know the monthly volume but just the past 3-4 days results of those phrases…

Then you can use the Google trends it will tell you how hot the topic right now is, try it here….

So, in this way, you can measure the potential of viewers on every topic and just start the channel on the topic which is searched by most of the people for better channel results…

By producing quality content around most searched topics you can easily start getting a lot of views on your videos.

Create Long Videos for Trust:

Believe me, Google platforms are very intelligent now and you can no more dodge them with manipulated titles and descriptions for attracting the search views….

They are now totally working on the user engagement…

It means if you are making the long in-depth videos then your users will stay on your channel for more duration and they will rank you in related videos and search listings where all the traffic is actually landing.

This will not only help you in getting more views but your viewers will be happy to watch that much information about one topic in a single video…

Here’s the strategy:

Make videos minimum of 10-15 minutes after selecting the complete information about that one topic in which your viewers are interested…

Also, you can make a playlist of videos and number them in the format of episodes that your viewers will watch 3-4 videos rather than one…

The more you can make them stay on your videos the more viewers, engagement and ad revenue you will get…

If you can master this method of staying the users on your videos then you can grow your channel in very less time.

First, 15 seconds of videos are Gold:

According to a study held by YouTube, they have analyzed that users decide to watch the video in first 15-20 seconds of the videos…

Most of the time if they watched the first 15 seconds of the video they will watch the complete video.

So, it clearly means you as a video maker have to hook your viewers in the first 15-20 seconds then they will watch the complete video.

I mean in first seconds of the video you have to build the interest of the viewer by stating their problem again or promising them the solution they are looking for…

Let me give you a quick example:

Suppose with me for a minute that you are watching videos on dog training…

In the first video, the Vlogger said: “My name is John and I will tell you how to train dog”

In second video he states: “Are you trying to train your dog but he’s not listening, I am going to show you the complete method step by step”

So, if you are like the most of the people you will find the second video more interesting right? Because it states your problem clearly and promising you the solution as well…

This is how you can make your videos more interesting at the starting and hook the users for watching your videos complete.

Also, the example I showed you is just one method and you can use another kind of hooks as well but the thing is must use at least one technique of hooking your viewers.

Write a Catchy Title:

When the user is searching for the videos on your channel topic they will get a huge list of results and in seconds they will decide that which video they are going to watch…

Same goes with the related videos section of YouTube that there is a big list from which user will decide the next video…

If your title is not catching the eye of your users then you are not going anywhere because they will decide to watch the other videos.

Honestly, it’s an art to write the catchy headlines that you will learn with time but here’s the example for clearing the discussion.

Suppose after searching “dog training” 2 results come up with titles:

“Dog Training at home complete guide”

“Secrets of complete dog training in 30 days (Beginners Guide)”

Again the second one is more clickable and will find the attention of most of the people…

If you are not writing the catchy headlines then, believe me, you are leaving the big game on the table but if you are writing the good headlines then only this will bring you a lot of traffic.

Most of the time for every content that I am going to publish online I write more than 8 headlines and select the best one which will get the attention of my users.

You can also check the most shared content at Buzzsumo and copy their headlines for creating your video headline. it will save you energy and give you perfect results.

Video Description is not dead:

As I mentioned above that YouTube is no more using the just title and description for the ranking factors in search but now they are using the user engagement as well…

But still, I showed you how the title can give you the more viewers, now I must tell you that description is not dead and why you should pay close attention to it.

Here’s the Catch:

Most of the traffic on YouTube comes from the related videos and they can only understand that your video is related to the other videos by checking the video details.

Yes, the video description also helps YouTube to understand your video exact topic.

So, I must suggest you write at least 200 words video description by just including your main keyword 1-2 times (adding keywords and appearing for them in search is dead actually)…

Writing brief description will give them the clear details about your video and start ranking you in related videos and search listings… This is how description helps you in getting more views.

Thumbnails, don’t forget Thumbnails:

Similar to the title/headline of the video thumbnails on YouTube also plays important role in getting the users from related videos and search listing.

I am not talking about click bait here, as you are going to provide the quality videos but if someone is not watching it then all your effort will go in vain…

So, it’s really important to optimize your videos for the better CTR (click through rate as well).

Here’s the hack:

As you are investing your time in making the title, also do the same for thumbnail…

You have to paint very attractive thumbnails with their problem “like dog training” written again on them so they only want to watch your videos only.

Again, this is just one method some people use the best image of their video as a thumbnail and others make the shocking faces for better CTR.

Now, you know how to be focused on thumbnails too instead of allowing YouTube to select one random image from your video.

Make your channel Look “Brand”:

When someone arrives at your channel you must have to give them the feeling that it’s a brand and they can trust on your present and upcoming content…

It’s not important for the channels who are around just for some months but in long-term, users notice this and it has a direct impact on your subscribers and likes.

So, design your channels header image professionally or hire a logo designer from freelancing websites and they will give you the perfect logo in the budget.

In About US page you have written the compelling detail about your channel yourself and your content for better impression on YouTube and your viewers as well.

You also have to make the playlists of your videos for organizing the content in a good way so users will also understand all the topics on which you are working instead of hundreds of videos showing on your channel home.

Channel Trailer should also be made very carefully because thousands of people are going to watch your channel trailer and you have to give them the complete information about your channel in very short duration with a unique style.

Don’t just sit: Promote your Videos

After focusing on all these factors and creating the stunning content for maximum likes, views and shares don’t just sit back and wait for the miracles to happen.

In the starting of your channel when you don’t have many subscribers you have to promote your content on the channels where your audience is already present…

Some of the platforms are common for both of us where you can share your videos and get the good amount of views.

You can join the social media groups related to your channels or videos topic and keep posting there (don’t start with posting links they will ban you).

Start with making connections there and then after some time you can post your informative videos and get the instant viewers. I am using this strategy most of the time and getting good views.

You can search the related websites on the Google and share your video links in the comments section where people are discussing your topic and get the maximum views from them.

But make sure that you are not spamming and also writing the comments there which are helping their audience and for extra information, you are providing your videos so the admin will not delete or ban you from comments…

Reddit is also a perfect platform and getting thousands of views in a matter of days even on your new channels, if you are already the user of Reddit then you know the potential of views…

So, if you are new create the account at Reddit post some good stuff and get the good ratings (link karma) for posting your videos and then post your videos and get the instant views.

You can also share your videos on Forums like Quora where people only come when they don’t find the solution from Google and Bing and ask for the solutions of their problems.

If your videos are solving the problems then you can find the related questions and answer them briefly along with your video link so if they upvote your question the next time new people will see your video in the comments section at top…

And obviously, you will get a lot of traffic from those forums as well…

These are some common channels but if you can search you can find the other groups where your viewers are discussing or sharing their experience and you can get a lot of benefit from them for your YouTube channel.

Final Words:

If you can just implement all these methods in your channel and videos then you are ahead of 80% of the people who are just struggling with the non-quality videos with less attraction.

Now I think you can understand the difference of professional Vlogging.

Again If you are going to make a channel for getting a large amount of audience involved then you have to follow all these professional steps while creating your content…

Otherwise, your viewers will find a reason to not watch your videos again and YouTube will punish you for this when people are bouncing from your content.

So, you have to create the content which sticks your users like the super glue for getting the love of everyone.

The most important thing I can tell you at last that even you are doing everything right It will take time to get you views from YouTube because they will test a lot of things before sending you the quality traffic…

You have to keep creating the quality content with professional camera and soon you will start seeing the results…
